We are an independent compounding pharmacy dedicated to providing personalized medications and top-tier customer service. As we continue to grow and redefine pharmacy care, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a positive attitude, detail oriented, customer-focused and eager to grow within a company that is paving a new way in the pharmacy industry. You will play a vital role in processing and filling prescriptions, learn how to compound in our state-of-the art compounding labs, and ensure a smooth workflow within the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Highly effective multitasker and ability to manage daily front of pharmacy operations
Accurately fill and process prescriptions in compliance with Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations.
Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting patients with prescription inquiries, refills, and general pharmacy questions.
Support compounding operations under pharmacist supervision.
Manage inventory and ordering, including prescription supplies, over-the-counter products, and general pharmacy office supplies.
Package and ship daily prescriptions, ensuring accuracy, proper handling, and timely delivery.
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to pharmacy policies and procedures.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong attention to detail.
Assist with general pharmacy tasks, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Knowledge of USP <800> guidelines preferred; but not required.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Interest or experience in supplements, wellness, and health (or a willingness to learn).
Qualifications:
Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician (preferred). Uptown Chemist is a certified training pharmacy and will provide full licensure, covering the cost of courses and CEs for candidates eager to enter the pharmacy industry and grow their careers.
Compounding pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Hospitality experience is a plus; but not required.
Self-motivated with a passion for learning and professional growth in the pharmacy industry.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a small-team environment.
Proficiency in pharmacy software experience is a plus; but not required
